Extension of 35% Rental Waiver Till 29 July 2021

We understand that it’s not an easy period for our cabbies. To help our cabbies tide over this period, we are extending the daily rental waiver at 35% to 29 July 2021. This is in addition to the COVID-19 Driver Relief Fund (CDRF) of $10/taxi/day.

 Recommend "Pay For Street Hail" to Your Passengers

From 5 July to 29 August 2021, recommend the “Pay For Street Hail” function in the ComfortDelGro Taxi Booking App to your passengers. Cabbies who complete a minimum seven "Pay For Street Hail" passenger transactions in a week will be rewarded with a $5 "Polar Puffs & Cakes" e-voucher. Should you complete 28 "Pay for Street Hail" passenger transactions or more in a week, you will also get $28 worth of taxi vouchers (which you can use at CDGE Kiosks)!

Win Sweet Treats For
Your Street Trips

From 5 July to 31 October 2021, ComfortDelGro Taxi passengers who take street-hail metered rides will stand a chance to play the "Sweet Treats For Your Street Trip" Game for sure-win prizes! All they have to do is flag a ComfortDelGro taxi and pay the fare using our App's "Pay for Street Hail" feature with Mastercard.

 Avoiding Accidents
At Fuel Kiosks!

A fuel kiosk is a small area with high-volume traffic, so extra care is needed when driving about in one. For the past 1.5 years, about 20 accidents involving our taxis had taken place at our fuel kiosks. To avoid such accidents, here are some do's to follow:

• Reduce speed and drive slowly when you enter a fuel kiosk;
• Shift gear to 'Parking' mode and engage the handbrake to ensure the taxi remains stationary even when it is on a gradual slope; and
• Always check your surroundings before reversing your taxi or moving off.

Free Meals
For Our Cabbies

Thanks to Klook, a total of 2,000 meals has been raised from Hong Lim Food Centre exclusively for ComfortDelGro cabbies!

From 28 June to 5 July 2021, our cabbies can redeem a meal with their EID at any of these nine food stalls at Hong Lim Food Centre for dine in only. If you have yet to redeem a meal, click on the link to find out which nine stalls you can choose to get your free meal from.

A Small Act of Kindness

A small act of kindness goes a long way.

When Cabby Goh Kah Heng picked up a passenger from IKEA Alexandra, he noticed she was carrying two bags and a bulky item. Seeing that she had to manage the items on her own, he decided to assist with carrying the items to her lift lobby. A passer-by, who was touched by Cabby Goh's gesture, captured a video of Cabby Goh returning to his taxi.
