Six more countries have been added to the Vaccinated Travel Lanes (VTL) programme from December 2021, and demand at the Airport is expected to increase. Cabbies who wish to head to the airport for fares can check the latest incoming flights via the Cabs@Changi App (Android download / iOS download). Best time to do it now before border measures are tightened even further!

Drive More From Friday-Sunday, High Demand Expected! 

The festive season is here! Most people will be heading out for Christmas shopping or to catch up with their friends.

Demand in areas such as Orchard/CBD, Tampines, Woodlands, Yishun, Choa Chu Kang, Hong Lim and Telok Ayer is expected to increase, especially over the weekends during 10am-2pm, 5pm-8pm and 10pm-12 midnight.

Doing Your ART?

Here's a reminder to our cabbies to continue taking the Antigen Rapid Test (ART) and sharing the results with the Company via the CDG Driver App. 

We urge all drivers to get vaccinated and declare their vaccination status. Cabbies who are unvaccinated by choice and are hospitalised for COVID-19 treatment, rental waivers will not be given, and they will have to pay your own medical bills.

20% Rental Waiver For The Month Of December 

Demand may improve with the expansion of the Vaccinated Travel Lane programme, but we understand the year has not been an easy one.

As such, we will continue to extend a 20% daily rental waiver for the month of December 2021. This is in addition to the Government’s COVID-19 Driver Relief Fund (CDRF) of S$10 per taxi per day. All call levies will also continue to be waived till 31 December 2021.

Remember To Get Your MDT SD Card Replaced  

The SD Card for the Mobile Data Terminal (MDT) has to be replaced to improve system stability. 

To-date, about 70% of our cabbies have sent their taxis in to have the MDT SD card replaced. If you had missed your appointment, our Technical Service team will be contacting you to make another appointment. Replacement is carried out at the MDT Service Centre at CityCab building and will take less than an hour.

We are in the midst of updating our Fleet Management System and would like to include the latest profile photograph of each cabby in it. All you need to do is to email a recent photograph of yourself taken against a white background in a jpeg format, along with your name and mobile phone to our Driver Relations Officers at dro@cdgtaxi.com.sg. We look forward to receiving your photo!
