Study Achievement Awards

Is Open For Application

The application for the ComfortDelGro Taxi Study Achievement Awards will open on the GCE O-Level results release day (tentatively between 12 January and 14 January 2022).

Cabbies whose children were enrolled in a Government Primary or Secondary school in 2021 may apply for the awards via the Cabby Portal at http://cabby.cdgtaxi.com.sg.

New Criteria For

Top Cabby Award

From January 2022 onwards, cabbies need to have an average of 4.80 stars rating, achieve at least six cashless transactions per day, complete at least 40 Auto Accept bookings per month, receive at least 30 five-stars ratings per month, and drive a minimum of eight hours per day, amongst others to qualify for the Award.

Orange Cashless Button

Now On MDT 

The orange button for in-app cashless payments on the payment terminal has been shifted to the MDT, so please remember to press it to complete transaction and receive payment. 

From 1 January 2022, the size of cycling groups will be capped at five cyclists in a single file or 10 cyclists when riding abreast on roads. Safety is a shared responsibility and cabbies are encouraged to share road space with others graciously and responsibly. Drive safe!

Accept Brunei Currency

According to the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), Brunei currency is accepted as payment in Singapore and can be deposited/exchanged at par without charge in all banks. As such, cabbies can continue to accept Brunei notes as payment for fares. 

Cabby Turned Community Lifesaver On The Road

For rendering help to an injured person involved in a traffic accident with a car, Cabby Sin York Tan was presented with the Community First Responder Award by the Singapore Civil Defence Force on 30 November 2021. As one of 50 volunteers under the SCDF-ComfortDelGro AED-on-Wheels programme, Cabby Sin had rendered medical assistance to those in need on several occasions and also helped to extinguish a vehicle on fire.
