Temporary road closure for Purple Parade and Newton Challenge events on 28 & 29 Oct 2017

Please be informed that the Purple Parade and Newton Challenge events will be held on this coming Saturday and Sunday (28 & 29 Oct 2017 ) respectively.  In view of these 2 events, the following roads will see road closure being implemented on a temporary basis to facilitate the hosting of these events.

Road Closure Schedule for Purple Parade on 28 Oct 2017 (Sat):

Please be aware that the remaining 1-quarter at Suntec Roundabout will be turned into a 2-way road to facilitate traffic ingress/egress between Rochor Rd and Temasek Ave. 
 
Please note that the taxi stands at Suntec City Towers 1&2 (C18 ), 3&4 (C19), Tower 5 (C27) and Suntec Convention Centre ( C25) will not be operational in tandem with the road closure of 3-quarters of Suntec Roundabout.  Taxi drivers are advised to call at alternative taxi stands located nearby at Marina Square ( C22), Millenia Walk (C20) & Millenia Tower (C21).  The event organisers will also be setting up a temporary taxi stand at the back of Suntec City North Wing along their service road, before Car Park Entrance D.The event organisers will also be setting up a temporary taxi stand at the back of Suntec City North Wing along their service road, before Car Park Entrance D .  Photos of the temporary taxi stand location are appended as follows:
