In just three days, ComfortDelGro cabbies, who are already activated to take UberFLASH jobs, are seeing a jump in the volume of booking jobs. 
 

Cabby Sng, who has been driving with ComfortDelGro Taxi since 2005, was pleasantly surprised by the volume of jobs that UberFLASH had. He completed 30 UberFLASH jobs on 19 January, which is double his daily average. 
He said: “The jobs came back to back, so the time I spent plying the streets empty was reduced. I hit my target for the day within a shorter time and could call it a day earlier.” 
 

Cabby Goh, another cabby who took more than 30 UberFLASH bookings on the same day, shared that the whole experience was challenging yet fun at the same time. "It felt almost like 'gaming', and it took me a while to get used to the speed in which the jobs were assigned," he said.   

Both cabbies found that UberFLASH customers tend to be younger and only 1 in 10 paid the fare by cash. Cabby Goh said: "Cashless is good because I get the fares within one to two working days."
